4.1.4.8. E-entertainment

There various types of videos, music on the internet. These ranged from entertainment videos to education videos.

4.1.4.9.  E-business

E-business is commonly referred to as electronic business. This is an art of transacting business, buying and selling using electronic means, especially the internet.

 4.1.4.10. E-governance

E-governance is the art of conducting governance via the internet- e-mails, video conference, chatting etc.

4.1.4.11.  Open source materials

Open source materials are free materials such as books, journals, softwares placed free of charge on the internet.

4.1.4.12. Telemedicine

Telemedicine is the art of diagnosing, treating, managing disease over the internet. It may also involve performing surgical operations via the internet.

 4.1.4.13. E-news

There are large numbers of radio stations such as the BBC, Voice of America, Radio France that are hosted on the internet. Similarly there are different types of local, national and international news papers on the internet. These range from local Nigerian tribune, leadership to the American Newsweek or Washington. Furthermore, there are international TV stations such as the DSTV, HITV etc

4.1.4.14.  Video conference

Video conference is the art of conducting meeting over the internet. The people involved in the meeting will see and talk to each other on the computer screen. Below is a picture of people conducting meeting over the internet.

4.2. ABUSES OF THE INTERNET

In spite of the fact that the internet has improve living standard of man, it has its attendant problems. Some of these problems are:

The internet is associated with different forms of crimes, called cyber crime. Cyber crime range from assess to people's e-mails, hacking of softwares, books etc to the forging of credit and master cards details. Cyber crime has serious economic implication. For instance, it has caused the American government one hundred million dollars in 2008.

4.2.2. PORNOGRAPHY

Pornography is the display of nude pictures or sex videos. It is one of the disadvantages of using the internet. There are web sites that deliberately host pornographic videos free of charge. Use of pornographic videos act influences the rate of immorality in the youths.
