4.2.11.BAR CODE SCANNER

Bar scanner captures information on labels of products. The bar code consists of vertical bars whose width and distance apart determine a number.

4.2.12. MAGNETIC INK CHARACTER RECOGNITION(MICR)

 Magnetic ink character recognition detects characters on specific documents such as cheque, certificates etc

 

4.2.13. OPTICAL MARK RECOGNITION (OMR)

OCR is a package that converts images with text and PDF files into plain text files. There are online and offline versions.

4.2.14. POINT OF SALE (POS)

The point of sale input device captures information at the point of transactions, such as the super markets, petrol stations, ATM etc that use electronic gadget
