c. Counting
To calculate Average in excel employ the following strategies:
Step 1
Highlight the cells that contained the values that you want to count.
Step 2
Place your mouse pointer on formula tab on the Microsoft ribbon. Then click on Autosum tab, scroll down to Count Numbers and click. You will have the picture below on your desktop.
After clicking count numbers the picture below will appear on your desktop.
