a. Addition

To perform addition in excel employ the following strategies:

Step 1

Highlight the cells that contained the values to be added as in the following picture.

 Step 2
Place your mouse pointer on formula tab on the Microsoft ribbon. Then click on Formulas. Autosum  and then the Sum tab as in the picture below.


After clicking on Autosum the picture below will appear on your desk top
