d. Processing stage

The processing stage is the stage whereby the inserted data is processed-broken down into its constituent parts.

e. Storage stage

The next stage after the data has been processed is storage. This is the stage whereby the processed data is stored outside on external storage facilities or inside the gadget that processed it. This could be inside the computer or in an external devise such as CD-Rom, Flash, external hard disc etc

f. Output stage

The next stage after the data has been stored is the output stage. This is the stage whereby the processed data is displayed or released from the processing gadget. The data or information processed can be printed using a printer, saved or displayed on a monitor screen.
