1. Determining the factors that determine soil fertility, soil acidity
2. Predicting how weather will affect the farming season or crops.
3. Measuring growth rates of plants and animals
4. Diagnosing illnesses of animals
5. Managing diseases in animals

15.1.12. COMPUTERS AT HOME

Computers are used at home for:

1. Word processors- typing personal documents such as letters, budgets etc
2. Database programs and Spreadsheets- creating home data base, calculating home budget
3. Personal information management programs- keeping personal documents- certificates, family photos etc
4. Web browsers and e-mail programs- use for exchanging information members of different families
5. Watch videos, play video games and play audio music

COMPUTERS IN THE MUSIC/FILM INDUSTRIES

Musicians, film producers use computers to:

1. Record audio music, videos, music videos
2. Edit audio music, videos
3. Produce audio, music videos
