INFORMATION AGES

However, during the late days of the industrial age, the human beings and hand tools of the early industrial age were replaced by machine tools and machines. Machine tools are tools that used a power source to operate. Some of the power sources of the industrial era were:

1. Waterwheels- use water to generate energy that runs machine tools or machines.

2. Wind mill- uses wind to generate energy that runs machine tools or machines.

3. Steam engine-uses steam to generate energy that runs machine tools or machines. The invention of the steam engine is responsible for mass industrial activities that led to the industrial revolution.
