e. Drag and drop

Drag and drop means pressing and holding the left mouse button and then dragging to point. You then release the left button after reaching the desired destination.

4.1.2.2. The differences between the keyboard and the mouse

The basic differences between the keyboard and the mouse are:

  • The keyboard is rectangular in shape, while the mouse is oval in shape
  • the keyboard has keys with alphabets, figures or symbols, while the mouse has none.
  • Data or information is send into the computer by pressing any of the keys on the keyboard, while data and information is send into the computer by clicking the mouse buttons.
    4.2.2. JOYSTICK

     A joystick is a small rod like structure (the car gears gearshift used in manipulating objects on computer screens. E.g. used in computer games or controlling robots.

 
4.2.3. TOUCH PAD

 Touch pad is flat sensitive surface, which is used for feeding information into the computer.
