REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM 7.0. INTRODUCTION All groups of living organisms produce its own kind. This takes via a process called reproduction. Re 7.1. WHAT IS REPRODUCTION Reproduction is the biological process through which new generations of living organisms are formed. This process takes in the reproductive system. 7.2. IMPORTANCE OF REPRODUCTION Some of the importance of reproduction are: i. Increase in population ii. Preservation of species 7.3. REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM The reproductive system is a system comprising of tissues, organs, and glands through which reproductive sex cells, and new organisms- sperms and ova are produced, nutured, transported. The reproductive system are different for the females and the males. |
