The female reproductive system are esponsible for:

1. the production and maintenance of the reproductive sex cells
2. the transportation the reproductive sex cells to the site of fertilization
3. the provision of favorable environment for a developing fetus, to give birth
4. the production of female sex hormones.

Parts of the female reproductive system

The female reproductive system comprised of the following parts:

1. the external parts of the female reproductive system.
2. internal parts of the female reproductive system.
