8.2.1. USING QUICKBASIC
For you to use BASIC language to create programs you need the |Basic software such as Qbasic, Just Basic, Small basic or Run Basic. In this book I used Small Basic software for the examples.
8.2.1.1. Installing Quickbasic
To use QuickBasic, you most installed it first on the computer. This book comes with the Just Basic software. You can install the software following the instructions appearing on your desk top. If you follow the instructions, by clicking next, next etc the software will be installed on your computer.
8.2.1.2. Starting QuickBasic
To start QuickBasic, employ the following strategies
Step 1
Go to you install the Qbasic or the folder that contains the Qbasic software. Place your mouse pointer on the software icon as in the picture below and click.
Step 2
A Qbasic window as in the picture below will appear on your desk top.
