CLASSIFICATION OF TEETH

Humans have two sets of teeth, namely:

Deciduous (baby or milk) teeth

Permanent teeth

Permanent teeth Replace deciduous teeth beginning between the ages of 6 to 12 A full set is 32 teeth, but some people do not have wisdom teeth

  1. Incisors – bite off pieces of food.
  2. Cuspids (canine) – grasp and tear food
  3. Bicuspids (premolar) – grind food particles
  4. Molars – grind food particles Mastication
