LARGE INTESTINE

The large intestine is the last part where digestion or absorption takes place.
It contains bacteria that help in the digestion of fiber.
The bacteria also produces vitamin k and other gases.
The last part of the large intestine is extended into the APPENDIX. The appendix helps in immunity.

The Rectum, last part of the large intestine stores faeces until its elimination
